kevin's final fanfic

The fanfic is orginally from Japanese Manga "Hunter X Hunter".

They (K and G) chase the Ryodan (gathering of thieves) to get a reward of 1 million dollars which is being offered for the capture of them. However, they were caught and now in danger because of their senseless pursuit.  C and L (friends of G and K) conduct hostage rescue operations.  The operation was planned already before chasing Ryodan. So K knows that friends would come and rescue, however Kira and Gon have to keep in mind that there is a person (Parknoda) with supernatural power who can read people’s minds.  It’s a power where desired information can be extracted simply through physical contact. Even if they do not have the intention of exposing it, she can extract it at her own will. So if this were to leak out, they will lose all chances of rescue and die.

“I am very sorry. We will not chase you anymore, so please forgive us” G said.

“Yeah, we will give up our attempt to get reward” K agreed.

Ryodan have been irritated last decade by all chasers.

“Hmm, what should we do, boss? Can I kill them all?” One of Ryodan member who has long hair asks to Boss.

“Capture them. They probably have some connections to the other chaser. They might be of use alive, so we can bring them to parknoda and we will see how many chasers are there and where they are” His voice trembled with rage. Ryodan’s boss is the man who is irritated by chaser.

“I will call her right now, boss” He responds.

“Tell her that we will wait at the Benjamin Hotel” boss says.
“All right, let’s go everybody" 

They hurry into a car and drive ahead to Benjamin Hotel where they see Parknoda and other Ryodan members.

“G, don’t worry too much. We would be rescued by our friends” K whispered

“Hmm, by the way, how did you know that Ryodan members would meet in Benjamin Hotel?” G whispered.

“Didn’t I tell you? We have already done our research on Ryodan” K responds with confidence.

(At Hotel)

“They are not here yet” One of Ryodan member says.

“Wait right here. We will catch up them here at the lobby. Keep an eye on them” Boss sat at chair and closed his eyes.

“Yes” they replied.

K feels a little insecure about their plan. He hopes that their members are already here, and give them any signal.

(5mins later)

“Idiot, it’s not Bensermin! It's Benjamin Hotel! How could you have heard it wrong?! You are always like this” A stranger shouted loud. It was L. L shouted with an extra ordinarily loud voice.

 “What are you looking at? Huh? Do you want to pick a fight?” L looks back at Ryodan and shouted.

 “Boss, should we chase him out?” one of ryodan member also shouted and tries to draw his knife.

 “Ignore him, keep watching”

 “I am taking to this idiot. This is all due to your leak of responsibility. I will only close my eyes this once. If it fails, do you know what will happen?” Listen carefully, 7 o'clock sharp! Come to this hotel by then. I will fire you if you are one second late! Okay?” L shouted with a loud voice and sit back to his chair.

(Hmm, close my eyes, 7o'clock sharp. It’s a message) G was able to deduce the message from what L said.

(We have to escape from these two guys which will take about 2~3seconds. If there's a sudden black out, it will take at least a few seconds to get used to the dark.) K thought and planed everything in his mind.

“Damn, let’s listen to radio to kill time” He muttered himself.

This is the last song. Here’s the song Moon Child. (Radio voice)

(Classical Music~~)

G and K keep eyes on clock and listen to radio.

Just at that moment, Parknoda and 2 people came in through Main door

“Hey! Parknoda and rest are here” one of ryodan member welcomed her.

 “Hey guys, wow, Ryo 1 you look so tired” she laugh at his tired face.

 “I couldn’t sleep last night. I just had 2 hours of short sleep.” he had a haggard, worn appearance.

G thought it is a good chance to close his eyes and prepare for blackout. G said, “I also did not sleep last night which means I am really tired right now. Can I have a nap?”

“Are you kidding? Or want to die right now. So you can take your last sleep” One of ryodan member says with a quivering voice. He felt resentment against G.

“Fine, I will just close my eyes” he replied in a small voice.

 Boss realized that he needs to know their hiding place. He speaks, “that aside, Parknoda, check those two”

 “Okay, what do you want to ask?” Parknoda smiles

 “Ask them, where is other chaser”

G and K looked up the clock and time was 6:55.

(Radio voice): Moon child is over. Our programme has only one minute left.

 “1 minute! I have to draw out the time” he groaned inwardly.

“It’s no use. As long as you make contact with the opponent, we have nothing to hide, we don’t know anything either even if we do know something...” G closed his eyes and said to Parknoda

 “I will know from one touch. So please shut up” Parknoda grabs his neck and tries to extract.

 “Even if we do know something, we will mix it with random memories to be extracted by you” K also closed his eyes and said with confidence.

 “You are mistaken. The memories that I extract are the ones that are most pure, the original memories. I will not extract the fake images that you two invent. My questions will trigger your memories and I am able to get memories that have not been tampered” Parknoda smiles and grabs their neck stronger.

(Radio voice): the time is now exactly 7o'clock

When it is 7o’clock on time, all the lights went out. All of Ryodan member were taken aback by the sudden blackout. Of course they are not able to see anything, while G and K secure a clear view when they open their eyes.

“We can see! But those guys can’t see yet” G and K shook of their hand off violently and jumped over to other side.

“The kid on the right escaped, but can’t see anything” One ryondan member who was in the right side of G yelled out to other members. “Were they waiting for this chance?”

“I can’t let go the one on the left” another ryodan member tried to grab K’s shoos, but K jumped and takes off his shoes.

“Damn, I missed him” he throws out K’s shoos.

 “Run K! Let’s get out of here” G yelled out to K in front of the main door.

“Calm down. Guys, anyone who can see try to block the entrance” he called with a loud voice.

G and K escaped really fast through the entrance. They run really fast and already knew closest way to get out of Hotel. Ryodan members missed K and G. Few minutes later, lights turned on.

“Well, it was a pretty good plan, looks like the original plan for the hostages. We missed them” boss speaks in rough voice.

“Was the electricity off all over the town or just in this building?” one of ryodan members asks to boss.

“I think they cut the power supply of this building, it was planned out well” boss replies

“Damn it. Boss let’s just give up with chasers and go back to hiding place. I really need to go for sleep” he shows an unsatisfied look to boss.

 “We missed them because of your drowse” another ryodan member yells to him.

 “Shut up” he yells out too.

 “Listen guys; I guess they are most likely moving by car, we can still catch up them with the traffic jam. It’s rush hour now. Parknoda, did you get anything from them?” boss tries to act calm. He thinks that parknoda did get some information from K and G.

“I extracted a few memories from them. I know where their hiding places are” she smiles.

“Ok. Let’s go and kill them all”

G and K run out from the Hotel and arrived at subway station.

“Why did not we use car? There was a prepared car for us in front of Hotel” G asked reason to K.

“It is evening rush hour now, using a bullet train would be faster. I guess Parknoda extracted our memories, which mean they know where our hiding place is.  Let’s catch up with L and c and get out of this country. Ryodan, they are dangerous. I really don’t want to chase them again” He shivered.

“Let’s chase another thief”
